IPO-bound digital heroes Zomato and Paytm are all over the internet exhibiting their friendship and love for each other.

Paytm and its found Vijay Shekhar Sharma wished Zomato on its 13th birthday on Sunday. "We would have paid for a surprise cake but the order would be from Zomato and the surprise would be ruined. So here's a surprise emoji cake instead," the fintech giant posted on social media handles.

Zomato, in a witty reply, said, "Our finance team is saying we can't Paytm you a treat for an emoji cake, so we hope this does the job," and posted a 'money' emoji.

Well, the friendship doesn't end here as Paytm's trading app now offers a pre-application feature for the upcoming Zomato IPO, which is opens from July 14-16.
